What is microneedling?
Microneedling was used by emperors in China to stay youthful and radiant. The updated version of this ancient cosmetic acupuncture treatment uses a needle pen with 12 tiny needles. Research shows this method reduces wrinkles, corrects hyperpigmentation, improves texture, and reduces scarring.

Microneedling
Microneedling itself takes 25-30 minutes within a 60 minute session. First a professional grade red light facial panel is placed above your face and neck while you lie on an infrared mat for 20 minutes. After microneedling (range of .25-1.0 depth) over face and neck, Chinese herbal serums* for repair and collagen formation, and apple stem cells in hyaluronic acid are applied followed by a chilled aloe mask. Treatments are well tolerated, but a numbing cream can be applied first. At the end of the session the skin may be pink or red and feel like a mild sunburn for a short time. Redness goes away by the next day. No down time.

Herbal Cupping Facial
Facial cupping feels like an invigorating massage as small glass cups slide over your skin. No bruising occurs with sliding cups. A natural oil is applied to help the cups slide. An herbal cleanser removes the oil and an herbal peel for exfoliation is applied. Next is a skin nourishing Chinese herbal mask, then you rest under a professional grade red light facial panel. Finally: your skin is plumper and firmer, with a nourished glow.

Cosmetic Acupuncture
This treatment involves 20 or more tiny needles inserted into muscles around wrinkles to plump and firm the skin, stimulating collagen production and blood circulation. While the needles do their work, you rest under a professional grade red light facial panel. Red light therapy reduces wrinkles and promotes cellular function. Best results with a minimum of 10 treatments, once per week.

*Topical herbal serums:
Lab grade herbal serums proven to increase collagen, elasticity, and reduce hyperpigmentation are applied after microneedling. Microneedling increases the skin’s absorption of topicals by 2-3000%. Herbs used include Shiitake mushroom, Asiatic pennywort, Zao Lei seaweed, and vegan apple stem cells from Switzerland. Serums are mixed only with vegetable glycerin or hyaluronic acid (a chain of sugar molecules found in our skin and joints that is highly moisturizing).
