My own experience with fertility issues led me to complete a fellowship in Nanjing where I studied with four Chinese medicine fertility doctors. The doctors combine Western medicine along side acupuncture and herbal medicine. I bring compassion and empathy to my treatments.

Traditional Chinese Medicine may be used either as an addition to Western infertility treatment or as an alternative treatment to help regulate ovulation and enhance fertility.

I incorporate evidence based and time tested traditional treatments which may include herbal medicine, acupuncture with electric stim, laser/light therapy and functional nutrition.

Problems treated include:

Unexplained infertility, autoimmune infertility, PCOS, recurrent pregnancy loss, amenorrhea, endometriosis, poor response to IVF, poor egg quality, side effect of fertility medications. Additionally, Chinese medicine has been shown to help male factor infertility (low count and poor quality),

Acupuncture Fertility Research:

Laser Fertility Research:

“The use of 830 nm LLLT [low level laser therapy]… resulted in successful induction of pregnancy in just over 21% of severely infertile females, with a substantial number of these achieving live births.” Laser Therapy 2012
