Women’s Health

I have a specialty board certification in fertility treatment and also enjoy treating women’s health problems including but not limited to perimenopausal symptoms, endometriosis, vaginal infections, PMS, and pregnancy issues.

Fertility

Unexplained, male factor, “poor egg quality,” auto-immune infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, polycystic ovarian syndrome, thyroid issues, amenorrhea, irregular menstruation.

Pain

Acupuncture, sometimes combined with other modalities (electric stim, laser acupuncture, cupping, etc), is excellent for relieving pain and stimulating healing. Some common conditions I’ve had success with include:

Headaches, back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, joint pain (OA and RA), neuropathy, tendinitis, herniated discs, concussion, fibromyalgia/muscle pain.

Immune disorders

Allergies, auto-immune disorders, recurrent infections, etc. 

Respiratory

Asthma, infections (acute and recurrent/chronic), sinusitis, etc.

Digestive

IBS, reflux, colitis, Crohn’s, ulcers, imbalance of gut flora (dysbiosis, bloating, pain), etc.

Mood

Insomnia, stress, anxiety, depression.

Pediatrics

Young children can be treated with laser acupuncture, a painless alternative to needles, and gradually introduced to needle acupuncture. Allergies, asthma, headaches, bedwetting, pain, digestive complaints, irritability, insomnia, recurrent infections.
