The treatment of fertility with laser acupuncture (with a low level therapeutic laser) has shown promise in research from Japan and Denmark.
This safe and painless treatment can reduce inflammation in the pelvis, increase blood flow, induce relaxation through down-regulating the sympathetic nervous system, and may even help with ovarian quality–studies have found laser treatment to help with severe infertility with pregnancy rates ranging from 22-66%.
I have used lasers in my practice since 2004 and I have developed a protocol for fertility combining acupuncture and laser treatment based on the Japanese and Danish studies.

How does it work?
Low level lasers stimulate healing through photobiomodulation. More simply put, these lasers stimulate energy production in the cells. A compound in the mitochondria absorbs the light energy (photons) and uses it to make more ATP, the energy molecule of the cell, boosting the cells ability to repair and heal. Lasers in the infrared spectrum penetrate deeply into the muscles and tissues below the skin while red light does not penetrate deeply and is used for skin conditions. Red LED light, also a form of photobiomodulation, has been shown to improve circulation and alleviate pain and is often combined with laser therapy. When treating fertility I also use a professional grade LED light over the abdomen.
Laser acupuncture is a safe treatment without side effects. Beyond uses for fertility, this modality can be helpful for many different conditions. I have personally had success with treating pain, acute muscle strain and trauma, lymphedema, inflammation, arthritis, tendonitis, and as an alternative to needles in the needle-phobic.
